Hi, thank you for your packet. I only garantee the following hidden functions to the KENWOOD TM-732E rig. It is possible that these functions will work in other versions. -------------------Receiving from 800 to 999 MHz----------------------------- Select VFO mode on UHF band and press MHZ key for a while. To return to the 70 cm band repeat the operation ----------------------Cross band repeater------------------------------------- (Receive in a band and transmit in the other) Select a VHF and a UHF frequency. Put the Ch. Sel LED and the PTT LED in the same band you want to use as transmitting band. Press the F key until F LED start blinking. Press the MUTE key. Now the repeater is set ready. (Receive and Transmit in both bands) Select a VHF and a UHF frequency. Put the Ch. Sel LED and the PTT LED in different bands. Press the F key until F LED start blinking. Press the MUTE key. Now the repeater is ready. ----------------------Turn off the repeater---------------------------------- Press the F key until F LED start blinking. Press the MUTE key. Now the repeater is OFF. ------------------------Set TX time delay------------------------------------ During repeater operation do: Press the F key until F LED start blinking. Press CALL key. -----------------------------Magic Display----------------------------------- Turn the radio OFF Press and hold the CALL key and at the same time turn the radio ON. Wait a few seconds and the display will start playing with you!!! To turn it off, just turn the radio off and then press and hold the VFO key and at the same time, switch the radio on. ------------------------------CLONE MODE-------------------------------------- Hold down the F and MHZ keys while turning on power. The current control band will display CLonE. Pressing CALL initiates the data transfer, graphically illustrated by a moving S-METER display. No RF is transmitted during data transfer, instead it is assumed that the data is dumped out of the microphone port. Nothing more is known about this at this time. --------------------------AM DETECTOR CONTROL------------------------------- The AM Detctor, which automatically comes on below 136 MHz, can be forced ON at any VHF frequency by pressing the F and MUTE keys while applying power. Radio continues to transmit FM but receives AM. Changing frequencies or memory channels will cancel the forced AM mode. This capability could be useful for listening to the USAF Thunderbirds which sometimes operate in the 143 MHZ band using AM. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, for now, it is all I can remember, These features are out off the manuals and I found them by my self. Try to explore the radio and maybe you can get some more. Please, answer me back to give me the results. Good luck! 73 to you and your family.
