There are classes for Dads, Grandparents, Prepared Childbirth, Parenting, Breastfeeding, Infant Care and Infant CPR. Some of these classes are offered free through your local health department or through the hospital. Many insurance companies are now beginning to pay for these classes. Additional classes are available to enhance the marriage relationship during pregnancy. One such class is P.R.E.P | |||||||||||

| Exercise and pregnancy Exercise is an important addition to pregnancy. Many of the discomforts of pregnancy can be reduced by consistent exercise. Low impact aerobics and water aerobics are excellent forms of exercise. You will need to obtain approval from you care provider before beginning any exercise. Always remember to check your heart rate frequently and keep it belos 140 beats per minute. Also remember to drink plenty of fluids when exercising to prevent dehydration. |
