outside under the dying sun
draining away the light and warmth
that once poured out over the world

chilling screams of winds blow
deafening ears with overwhelming tones
flashes of light overtake the dark
blinding the eyes of the world
the earth violently shakes
bringing even the strongest men to their knees.
the sky burns in an intense flame red
i struggle to lift my head
and gaze at the raging inferno blanketed above.
drops of blood slowly fall
trickling down our global walls
leaving interwoven trails and streams
streaked upon the once perfect sky
frozen in fear we gawk at the sight
we watch the sky tumble upon us
we witness the heavens succumb to death
