The clash of steel could be heard befre they could even see the soldiers. They ran to form a human barricade in front of the gate, as if that could stop the horses. Jonny spured the horse on to take the lead. As they neared the human barricade, Sarah's arms tightened around his waist. This was the only way out, and if they didn't make it....Jonny pushed the thought out of his head. His muscles tightened as they neared they gate and at the last moment when it looked like they horse would just run into the soldiers, Jonny commanded the horse to jump. Some soldiers ducked, others swung their swords trying to injure the horse in mid jump, but most just stood in awe. The horse cleared the baricade, and Jonny spured it on.
