A 17 song, 35 minute frenzy of power-pop punk exuberance, with little left to the imagination but �What in the hell are these guys ON?� Their live set is very much like the CD in that it just never stops; they just keep coming. And when you think you have �em figured out, they pull a fast one on you. It�s hard to imagine such a varied array of styles congealed into one tight sound, but when you hear it, it�ll blow you away. There�s years and years of experience, combined with a fresh, new look at the world in which they live . . . and a sense of humor to boot! There�s no filler here, that�s for sure. A three-piece from Western Pennsylvania, Squid has a lot of talent in such a small package. Former members of The Abandoned Refrigerators, The Infidels, Illuminatus!, (the list goes on), these fellows have delighted moshers and mashers from before it was anywhere near being cool, and they have only gotten better with time. The songs just stick in your head like . . . tentacles?
