Congratulations, you found it!  This is my computer, or "Pooter"

for short.  This project took about 3 months to plan/brainstorm,

but only a couple days to complete.  I don't recommend undertaking

a project like this unless you have thick skin, cause believe you me,

everyone you know will make fun of you and question your sanity.

NOTE: Background changed from that "geriatric nursing home,

marble border" to appease Andy.  Hope you're happy.  Enjoy:

This is the unassuming front of my pooter.  Top to bottom: 8x burner, 16x slot-load DVD-ROM, New-Q Platinum Equalizer,

100mb Zip drive, Mitsumi FDD.

HAHA! THERE'S THE MOD! You can now see the innards through a sweet-ass lexan plastic window.  I got the window from

Arena Computers but I altered it in size and shape so that I can "leave a little to the imagination, unlike Tom's whore of a computer."

Mad props to Anthony for that quote, and for getting me going on this case-mod thing in the first place....dickhead!

Here we have some more side views.  With the door off, you can see the tangle of wires that I kept from view by chopping up the window.

From the back, you can see the two rocker-switches I installed above the power supply.  These control the two ultra-violet cold cathodes inside.

To the left, you can see a little more clearly the workings of my rig. The waterblock is the High-Flow Spiral Block from Gemini Cool.  The

guy who makes them, Peter Eibeck, has done an awesome job with the design and machining of these block (not to mention the mounting kit).

If you're looking into watercooling, I HIGHLY recommend this block.  As for the other components, I ordered the radiator w/ 120mm Panaflo

fan from BECooling.  Again, a very good product from a respectable company.  Powering this system is a 500gph pump/reservoir that I bought

from Overclockers Hideout.  The reservoir is a well-designed aluminum cylinder that fits perfectly into my case, plus it looks kick-ass.  The pump

is a little louder than most, but it also puts out 500gph!!! (which, if I may add, is waaaayyy more than Tom's!)  In the pic on the right, you can see

something that I'm quite proud of.  These are two 80mm case fans which I personally pulled apart and painted.  The paint is fluorescent red

model paint that I picked up at a hobby shop.  These glow like a mutha under the cold cathodes and are one of the biggest highlights of my case.

or comments, feel free to e-mail me.

Go back to the front...you know you want to play "find the link" again!
