I've always been a Doctor Who fan even though I stopped watching the television show around 1986. On a whim in 1995 I bought a Doctor Who novel called Infinite Requiem by Daniel Blythe. Ever since then I have been a Doctor Who fanatic. I began buying Doctor Who videos, novels and audios, and I started writing Doctor Who stories. My very first story was the definition of 'fan fiction'. I wrote it some time after the 1996 Doctor Who television movie starring Paul McGann. It is a Doctor Who/Star Trek DS9 cross-over. You can read it online. My first 'real' Doctor Who story was published in the charity anthology Doctor Who : LifeDeath (published in July 2001). My favourite Who authors are Jon Blum, Kate Orman, and Lance Parkin. My favourite Who novel is Damaged Goods by Russell T. Davies, and my favourite Who short story is "The Sow in Rut" by Robert Perry and Mike Tucker.
The 8th Doctor chases the Master through a spatiotemporal rift where they continue their battle on a space station called Deep Space Nine.
"Raisin Jack and the Dead Gang" The 7th Doctor battles ghosts in the wild west. (Found in Doctor Who : LifeDeath. A collection of Doctor Who short stories benefitting Amnesty International. Published by Ambrosia Press).
Another Doctor Who story of mine will be published in the upcoming The Cat Who Walked Through Time II. You can also read my silly Doctor Who Christmas story here. Updated April 2008: Another published Doctor Who short story. Read about it here.
