I'm looking forward to this series. It is really a kid's show, but I find that works much better for a Doctor Who spinoff than does Torchwood's adult flavour. Which is actually kind of funny because I really enjoyed the dark/adult nature of the New Adventure Doctor Who novels. I really liked the pilot; some nice nods (and overt mentions) of Doctor Who. I especially liked the picture of the Brigadier, and the mention of the names Harry (Sullivan) and Alistair (the Brigadier) when Sarah is thinking of names for her new "adopted" son. I heard they "wrote out" K9 (with that contrived black hole plot) because they felt he'd make Sarah too powerful... yet they give her her own sonic screwdriver (lipstick), a cool watch gadget, and a super computer!
