Our next meeting will be our next to last meeting of the year and will be held on November 28, 2005. Member Mary Kent came up with a clever idea of having a "BAD POETRY" night. So start writing a bad poem or ask a friend if he/she has a bad poem and invite them to attend the meeting. Use your own judgement in how to deliver the poem for the best effect. Members are also encouraged to bring one of their favorite dishes to share. And finally, please bring an unwrapped toy which will be given to the Marine�s Toys For Tots Program so that needy children will have something to be happy about during this time of the year. The Marine Corps League performs services on a local level through programs such as the Toys For Tots program which was established by the U.S. Marines Corps Reserve in 1947. If you would like to bring a check instead of a toy to our Holiday Meeting, it can be made payable to Marine Corps League and is tax deductible.
