You�ll also hear a report from Don Countermine on the Officers� Training which took place in a coffee house in Ballston Spa. Two of the top leaders in District 53, Paul Young and John Lynch were amazed that 35 toastmasters from miles away persevered locked doors, cold pizza, and a great deal of frustration. None of them gave up!! Division Governor, Ray Bell, was proud of everyone�s persistence.
The Spring Conference this year will be held at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort on May 14, 2005. The winner of the International Contest at that event will advance to the Regional Conference in June to be held in Alexandria, Virginia. Following a victory at that Event, the winner will be able to become THE BEST SPEAKER IN THE WORLD by winning the International Conference in Toronto, Canada in August. The first step in this journey is at the club contest which we will be held in February.
