The Clifton Park Toastmasters will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Southern Saratoga Chamber Of Commerce at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be different because it will be run backwards. The prepared speeches will be evaluated before they are actually given. It is often a surprise to hear how well you spoke before you actually give your speech. Think of giving a Table Topic Response to a question that hasn't been aked yet.
These Backward Meetings are held every two or three years to give members a chance to be mind readers.
Guests are welcome.
Membership in the local Toastmasters club is open to anyone wanting to gain poise and self assurance when speaking in public. Those that join are given an opportunity to speak at every meeting but every member advances through the materials at their own pace.
