The mission of The Clifton Park Speakers Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member in our community has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence, professional and personal growth.
Our next meeting holds the potential to "bring down the house" because the contestants in the humorous speech contest wil be trying to make you laugh. The contestants in the Evaluation Contest will be trying to come up with a way to evaluate the speaker who finishes last in the Humorous Speech Contest so that he or she doesn't quit the club.
This would be a good meeting to bring a friend to who wants to learn about the environment. At our last meeting, some members talked about pea green soup and pink swans. You never know what you might learn at our next meeting on the 19th. Rumor has it that one of our members might even dance.
