of many members and two
guests we had a successful
meeting on Monday 9/12/05.
Our Area Governor, Ray Bell,
made an official visit and
had some kind remarks about
our club and the Toastmasters
Program. Due to an increase
in dues at the International
Level, we have raised our
dues to $39 for six month
membership for each member.
At the meeting, three
toastmasters gave prepared
speeches. We heard Linda's
icebreaker and now we all
know a bit more about her and
the wineries in New York
State. Bar took us on a sail
boat ride and shared some
lessons he learned from his
father while growing us.
Michael told us about his
recent trip to China and
emphasized the need to stay
calm when things don't go
exactly as planned. Joe,
Bonnie, and Andrea each gave
excellent evaluations of the
three speeches. Al pulled
another trick out of his vast
bag and challenged three
members with Table Topics
questions. If you weren't
there you missed a good
meeting.
