To stimulate through meditation exercise, a consideration of how the world began. Through exploring creation stories from different cultures and some stories from our own culture, this lesson seek to encourage individuals to consider their own perceptions of how the world began.

Lesson:
Students are to find a comfortable position in the classroom as this meditation/imagination exercise will take most of the lesson.
Many people from many cultures have tried to work out what happened when life began on earth. As a result, there are many stories that explain what took place. We will continue our meditation with a selection of these stories.
Discussion
� What are some of the similarities and differences between each story
� What are some of the major themes common to these stories Activity
� Worksheet 1 'In the beginning'. (or a blank piece of paper) Students reflect on the Creation Time Machine exercise and either draw what they saw, or write down their feelings as the creation process took place.
