Again I am just as guilty of this as anybody reading this article this month. Sometimes we truly need to have an “I” examination as Christians. I think sometimes we think that just because we are Christians that our brothers and sisters are going to agree with everything we say and do. I hate to break it to you saints but that is just not the case. There are some things that we must definitely have a common agreement on such as Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ and the doctrine that there is both a Heaven and a Hell and that those who don’t accept Jesus will wind up in Hell. Those are basic doctrines that all Christians should agree on, of course we should all hold to the King James Version of the Bible as our only source of doctrine, That I feel is very important and something which I feel I should take issue with somebody with. There are many great books on that subject and a great place to study the issue on the web. May I suggest as reading on this topic, Gail Riplingers, New Age Bible Versions and The Ekklesia Communicator at http://netnow.micron.net/~ekklesia. Both have extensive evidence as to why the King James Bible is the only acceptable English Bible.

There are something's however that are not as important in my opinion and certainly not worth fighting about or breaking up a congregation over, things such as the rapture, I lean towards a pre tribulation rapture, I can also see where it could come mid trib. The thing I see clearly is that God didn’t let Noah perish, He also didn’t let Lot perish even though from what I read Lot was much more deserving to than was Moses, I therefore do not see why in the world he would leave you and I in an impossible situation, but I have also talked to Christians that flat out don’t believe that there will be a rapture, my question to them is would it hurt to look at the evidence when it is provided and then make up your mind rather than to just be dogmatic that there is no rapture. I have found myself to be wrong on many occasions and would never have known it had I not been open to God’s Word and someone taking time to show me in God’s Word Where and why, if on the other hand I had something pertinent to say and something in God’s Word to back it up I would do likewise for a brother or a sister.

I think the key word we are learning here is humility, being humble and open to the spirit of God. The biggest problem with the church today is that even though Christianity is an everyday growing and changing process, alot of us do not want to change, sometimes it means that if we were to change the whole platform of our lives would crumble out from under us. As many of us have learned in the last year, We as Christians gave it all up to get it all. We gave up the comforts of the World to get the happiness that can only be found in Jesus and nowhere in the world. For some reading that was a bigger sacrifice than for others.

Right now I wish to tell on myself for just a moment. Back in 1995 a brother and myself parted ways for a season because of a disagreement that I at the time did not want to deal with. I had already made up my mind without consulting the Word of God that I was right and he was wrong. How dare he jump all over me for this decision I said to myself. For the next almost two years after that I continued to serve God in this ministry always haunted with I wonder what he is doing or how he is doing? Something in me kept me from finding out because I “Just didn’t want to hear it.” Then one night driving from Twin Falls Idaho to Boise Idaho, I feel like the Lord commanded me to go see this friend and put on my heart that in these last days we need to ban together. He showed me while driving that as these days get darker brothers and sisters we are all besides the Lord Jesus that we have. That’s right ALL WE HAVE IS EACH OTHER BUT ALL WE HAVE IS ENOUGH TO SEE US THROUGH THESE DARK TIMES. So I am asking you right now, If you have a problem with a brother or sister in the Lord, put this down RIGHT NOW and go and fix the problem. I did and am alot happier and I know you will be too.
