Elysium

A car crash kills
Blood is spilled
Sorrow fills
Those who have to see

The people cry
But those who die
Let out a sigh
Of a last painful breath
As they embrace death

Brilliant light
Feels just right
No more fight
To keep life in them

A warm feeling
Comes from the ceiling
And brings healing
To the pains of Men

A godly smile beckons
Hours take seconds
Because everyone reckons
They're in the right place

The smile becomes fervent
He says, "Well done
Good and Faithful servant
This race is won"

Here always and forever
From it you will never
Leave or long endeavor
To the earth or even worse

He saved us from the fire
Of our short-lived desire
Because he made his higher
Than the serpent's deadly curse

An endless feast of praise
Of the blessed days
And all the perfect ways
He had greatly shown

You'd never want to leave
You'll never be deceived
So go and plant the seed
So others can go eternally home
