Welcome to Mara's Ads! This ezine is sent out twice a week. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Read any article, book, or report from the "gurus" and you get a consistent theme. Increase, count and track your traffic. This simple system you are about to discover will do all this, and more!

Increasing Traffic
One great way to attract traffic is by linking to other sites. You hope the visitor sees your button, banner, or text ad, and clicks on it to view your offering.

Now, imagine that I make you the following offer:
Visit my site and receive a credit toward an exchange visitor to your site. Plus, when you refer new members you receive a percentage of all the web site traffic they generate. For example, they generate 10 visitors, you get one more visitor. The ratio of visits needed to obtain a visitor to your site varies from network to network.

This is basically how a click exchange network operates:
You sign up, open your browser window to selected sites, and they send you a visitor. If you visit just a few sites each day as you normally would anyway, you could be driving an immense amount of traffic to your site in a very short time. That's right! Guaranteed traffic to your site...

Counting Your Traffic
If you are not counting the hits to your site, you have no way to determine the effectiveness of your promotional strategies. Successful webmasters ALWAYS count the hits to their sites.

Now you can replace the links you have on your web pages with a specially coded link. After a tiny detour, this coded link leads the visitor to the exact same page as your original link. Each time the link is clicked on, it is counted.

Now, your traffic is increased and counted.

Tracking Your Traffic
You spend time and money on promotional efforts. You expect effectiveness and results. By using a specially coded link you can track where your visitors came from. For instance, you have a great ad you want to test. Run the same ad in a few publications using a coded URL for each ad placed. Which ad source pulled the most responses? Which one pulled the least?

If you get a low response rate, tweak your ad's wording or your offer.

It is highly recommended trying the "FREE" ad sources first. When the ad does produces responses and sales, use the money you make to pay for more ads.

Using this system, you have increased, counted and tracked your website traffic.

Compare this to other advertising sources that may result in no visitors.

Check your stats to determine the winners! And keep the process rolling...
