To those reading the newspaper, those that watch television, those that use the computers and those that listen to the radio,


	My name is Michael Berg, father of slained Nicolas Berg. To the questions which arised and asked why my son, one who was of a devoted Jewish descent, would go to such a war-infested muslim country, I say that there's a better chance than not that they knew he was Jewish. If there was any doubt that they were going to kill him that probably clinched it, I'm guessing.

	My son was curious. There were times when I saw him read even the Koran and the bible.

	He saw his trip to Iraq as an adventure, but one that fit into his ideology. He was a war supporter and backed the Bush administration. He helped set up electronics equipment at the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia in 2000. Yet, he defended you, Preident Bush, and he recieved nothing for it! 

	Your administration said that you were not holding my son in Iraq. Lies! Letters of him communicating with the military in April! Your administration promised a safe return before April 21. Lies! He still isn't home yet! His body isn't home yet. There was buzz that you could have traded POWs in exchange for my son. Tell me that, President Bush and your fancy administration. Is that a Lie as well?
