The Consummation

Fingers dancing light across my skin,
Feelings welling from deep within,
Kisses placed knowingly here and there,
Hands pulling gently on my hair,
Breath taken in short, quick gasps,
Words whispered in impassioned rasps,
Bodies moving together like the tide,
Waiting for the heavens to collide,
Nails rending tender flesh,
As two bodies become a single mesh,
Hunger rises up with hearts afire,
Eyes turning darker from desire,
Bodies glistening with fever's dew,
Not wanting the longing to subdue,
Moving faster with passion rising,
Culmination we are devising,
Hearts are singing with bloods new rush,
Faces glowing with lovers blush,
Tensing together with mounting need,
Wave after wave of crashing sea,
Engulfs their bodies and their minds,
Darkness claims them, still entwined.
