Regret

Can we live our lives without regret?
I often wonder if this can be possible,
Life is what we make it; it has to be livable,
Don't let regret be your soul's only debt.
 
This is the only chance to make it right,
To live life as if there is no tomorrow,
To be happy in your heart without sorrow,
Should we now make it our life's plight? 

Dance your way through all the rife,
Let your heart take wing and soar,
We can live, love, laugh and more,
As one we can overcome the pain, the strife.

I am here for you, so lose control,
Let me be the one, your catalyst,
Lose the regret; walk out of the mist,
Let the passion of life make you whole.
