Giving: Is it really better than receiving?
A Think Quest for first graders
 Help!!!
The holiday season is here and the kindergartners in Mrs. Philip's room have only one thing on their minds...what kinds of presents they will get! Your job is to use what you have learned through our "Adopt-A-Grandparent" project , as well as Internet resources, to create a think quest that will  teach the kindergartners about the virtue of giving, the needs of the elderly in our community, and helping others through volunteering. Our goal is to prove that the old saying "It is better to give than to receive" really is true! We don't have lots of time, so lets get in the spirit!

Group assignments
The class will be divided into five groups for this project. Each group will be given a topic to research. Your fifth grade buddies will visit each day for the next two weeks to help you  with your research. The information that you gather will be added to the sample web pages that I have already started. Click on your group to see your assignment.
