Abhiyan is a network of NGO's in Kachchh and K-Link is is an initiative to bring the power of Information & Communication Technology to the villages and integrate the empowerment efforts at the grassroots level into e-governance. The project is supported by the UNDP. Doctorate & M.Phil. from the School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi Master of Science (Physics) from the School of Basic Sciences, G.B.Pant Univ. of Agric. & Tech., Pantnagar, Nainital The major focus of recent work has been on desertification and land degradation problems in the state of Gujarat, western India.It has produced a detailed status report and set of recommendations for initiating new action programs.
