It's HEATING up in the month of July...
A trip to Addison to celebrate Independence Day
My family and I went to Addison to celebrate the holiday. We spent the night at a hotel and swam in their pool.
The
city of Addison has a great fireworks show on July 3rd that also
features a spectacular Cavanaugh Flight Museum Warbird Flyover.
It was a great way to enjoy the July 4th holiday!!
A great time to celebrate with great friends!!
Music Makers 2008
Music Makers is a program offered by the First United Methodist Church in Richardson.
This summer our program was called:
"Captain Noah & The One And Only Zoo Cruise for Twos"
Music Makers is a very special music camp designed to provide positive
Christian experience for all children entering grades 2 - 7. The camp is an
intense week of choral singing, culminating in the performance of a children's
musical. It was a wonderful week of music, drama, movement, set
building, performance and, as always, an exciting play day.
Going to the pool to stay cool
In July we go to the pool to stay cool. Recently, we
we went to the Glenville city pool to swim.
I passed the swim test and got to go off
the diving board and slide.
We also like to swim at the Terrace and Arapaho city pools in Richardson.
It has been a really hot summer here in Texas.
