The postponed Surrey League away match at Wallington for Crystal Palace 1 is Thursday next, 7 May, at 7.40pm.  The postponed away match for the same team against  at Wimbledon 3 is on Monday May 18th.  In both matches all games should be played with a QP finish.

In between these two matches, on May 11 at 7.30 pm at the Club, is the Trost Trophy, the Croydon League 10 second buzzer lightning tournament. This is the 50th Anniversary of this competition.  Entry Fee is £2 on the night and there are prizes of £50, £30 and two of £10.  

10 second chess is a unique test of chess skill and if past results are anything to go by the winner is not necessarily the highest graded player in the tournament.

The Club Championship starts on June 1.
