THE GHOST TOUR IN STRASBURG, PA
On July 19, 2003, Jon, Chris, James, and I went on a ghost tour in Strasburg, Pa. Our tour guide, Sue, was holding a lantern as she took us around Strasburg at  9 in the evening. She told us about several different sightings of "ghosts" or spirits within the area.  We were all standing in front of an old library listening to stories about sightings in town, when all of a sudden me and the guy next to me heard knocking coming from inside the library, which by the way was closed and totally dark. Then, about a minute later, we both saw one of the computers come on inside. We didn't see any ghosts, but that was enough for me.
Mrs. Penn's Shoppe-this is where the ghost tour begins and also where you purchase your tickets.
Sue, then told us the story about B.B. Gonder and his sister, Annie. They didn't get along at all . B.B. bought a mansion next door the house Annie was living in and would not allow Annie in the mansion. Both B.B. and Annie are known to be haunting the mansion to this day.

We then went over to the Strasburg Cemetary, where Sue told us about the big tree right in the middle. She said that whenever someone takes a picture of that tree, the pictures turn out with glowing orbs all over the tree. She also showed us how Annie's tombstone was facing away from the rest of the family's and out of the "circle".

This was our first ghost tour and we really enjoyed it. There was so much that we learned and heard, however, there is not enough room on this site. We do plan on going on many more ghost tours in different areas.
