Asian Organized Crime

Asian Organized Crime consists of mainly white collar crimes.  It  began in the late 1970s to early 1980s with an increase in United States population of Asian immigrants.  The gangs consist of mostly immigrant youth.  Some examples of gangs are:
  • Triads
  • 14K
  • United Bamboo
It is very hard to classify Asian groups because they include thirty-four distinct ethnic groups.
