COMPANY HISTORY
The Cardinia Performing Arts Company (CPAC) was formed in 2001 in response to a growing need for more artistic outlets in the form of theatre for local residents, coupled with the proposal for the new Cardinia Cultural Centre as a state of the art performance venue.
The  company proudly presented Les Misrables as the official opening season of the Cardinia Cultural  Centre and CPAC will continue to perform future productions at the Centre.
Lee Geraghty, the company's president, has directed and produced countless musicals and plays over the past 30 years. Lee was delighted at the propostion of being a part of the foundation team
Kim Thomsen is the resident Musical Director for the company, and her passion for music has extended over 18 years. Kim's career began with the state music council where she was an active member and performer. Kim then auditioned for the Royal Australian Navy Band where she spent 6 years performing and touring extensively throughout Australia. Whilst in the band Kim took great pleasure in performing.
Her highlights include: performing as a soloist at the Melbourne Concert Hall, playing for the Queen and performing with James Morrison
Kim has played in all major venues through out Australia. She moved into the Cardinia shire over 15 years ago, where she has maintained her passion for musical excellence. Kim has been the proud Music Director for the Cardinia Civic Concert Band (which boasts over 40 musicians) for the past 10 years, the instigator and musical director for the Cardinia Carols by candlelight choir, and she is currently the Head of Instrumental Music/Director of Bands, at Lakeside Lutheran College
CPAC is also proud to have Robert Mulholland on board as their resident Choreographer. Robert has worked in theatre for over 15 years and is in great demand as a choreographer and performer around Melbourne. Robert has worked for Disney Productions in Tokyo, Japan, has had numerous entertainment contracts on various cruise lines and has even been known to work with the Wiggles from time to time.
The company is always looking for new members to join their team, both on stage and back stage.
