| A wait too long, a life too short Palestinian photojournalist Nasser Shtayyeh weeps as he carries the body of his 5-day-old baby daughter, Dunya, before her funeral in the West Bank city of Nablus on April 19. Shtayyeh says Dunya was taken ill and died the night before. She was pronounced dead on the way to hospital after the family waited three hours due to roadblocks for an ambulance to enter its home village of Salem. The hospital is only four kilometers (about 2.5 miles) away MSNBC |
