Palestinian life continues spurting in new forms that  would reassure Palestinian identity despite the myriad obstacles that confronted its flow. However, the ongoing
conflict brought up new tragedies for the Palestinian people
as a result of their struggle against Israeli atrocities.

During all these developments, Ismail was living these
historic events that were reflected in his paintings.

He, however, did not ignore other human topics such
as motherhood, love, women, beauty as well as living nature.
