UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 28 (UPI) - The foreign minister of Yugoslavia, in New York to visit the United Nations, said his trip was delayed by visa problems, and that his U.S. visa forbids him from traveling more than 10 blocks from his hotel.

Foreign minister Zivadin Jovanovic told reporters at the U.N. that his trip was delayed for two days because of problems two of his delegates had getting visas from the United States.

He said three Yugoslav journalists who applied over a month ago were denied visas altogether.

"The Yugoslav public has a particular right to be fully informed as Yugoslavia and problems linked to Kosovo and Metohija are the highest on the agenda of the General Assembly," he said.
