BELGRADE - Members of the delegation of the commission for international evaluation of developments related to the aggression on FR Yugoslavia, set up by the Russian state Duma, pointed out Tuesday in talks with Yugoslav parliament representatives that the goal of their visit to Yugoslavia was to collect data, in order to form a legal judgement about the aggression.
Russian delegation head Stanislav Chernichenko explained that the commission was founded in July at the initiative of the department for international law of the University of St Petersburg and that it is made up of independent experts, mostly experts for international law.
Many things are clear to us because NATO member countries have helped us with their confessions about the proportions of the aggression, Chernichenko said and added that those assertions had to be verified and documented now on the spot.
