PRISTINA -- International forces in Kosovo and Metohija KFOR last weekend began air force exercises over the territory of this southern Serbian province, KFOR spokesman in Pristina Maj. Ole Jurgens said on Monday.
Speaking at a press conference, he said the exercises would be held twice a week and would also include air space over populated areas.
Forces will simulate ground attacks during the exercises so that pilots and other air force staff could train their skills, he said.
The exercises are in keeping with the KFOR's task to maintain security in Kosovo and Metohija, he said.
