MOSCOW -- Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said Friday that Russia was not satisfied with developments in the Yugoslav republic of Serbia's Kosovo and Metohija province.
Speaking at Tbilisi airport on arriving on an official visit to Georgia, Ivanov said that those who believed that the Kosovo and Metohija experiment had succeeded were greatly mistaken.
Ways in which the situation in Kosovo and Metohija is being dealt with have not simplified the problem but have given rise to more problems that now must be solved, he said.
Ivanov stressed that, following NATO's experiment in Kosovo and Metohija, the situation in the Balkans had not improved nor become less worrying than before the alliance's bombing of Yugoslavia.
