The United States appears to have solved the problem of the demilitarisation of the ethnic Albanian terrorist organisation calling itself Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) that is to be completed by Sept. 19 - it intends to dress KLA in jeans evidently in an attempt to make these desperados resemble more U.S. cowboys than bandits.
This will be, however, only an overture into the 'transformation' of KLA that has been repeatedly announced over the past few days. Ethnic Albanian terrorists, who appear to have found a way of avoiding the demilitarisation, are most vociferous in the matter.
The 'transformation' of KLA is to be carried out in four ways, according to its leaders. A number of terrorists will be promoted into policemen - the process has already begun under the UN auspices. A number of them will form the so-called national guard that is to gradually grow into the 'army of Kosovo,' according to KLA leader Hashim Thaqi.
The 'transformation' provides also for the taking over of the civilian administration in Kosovo and Metohija, while the remaining KLA terrorists are to form a political party.
In the light of the fact that similar 'transformation' processes have been witnessed in a large number of countries and regions, one cannot but conclude that this is being done under U.S. instructions. Similar 'transformations' have taken place under the U.S. dictate in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Nicaragua and elsewhere.
As regards Kosovo and Metohija, the only difference is that the arming of hostile parties is done under the UN auspices, which puts the entire problem into a far broader perspective and seriously undermines the UN credibility.
