KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- The family of the Serb who was kidnapped by Albanian terrorists on August 20 on the road Vucitrn-Kosovska Mitrovica, is on a hunger strike since Friday in sign of protest that U.N. civilian police and KFOR, as they say, have not undertaken anything to find the kidnapped.
Srdjan Jocic (32) from the village of Banjeske near Vucitrn was kidnapped when his car broke down on the road Vucitrn-Kosovska Mitrovica, near the village of Veliki Kicic.
"We kept going and asking, after we reported the kidnapping of Srdjan, the police, KFOR, humanitarian organizations, OSCE, UNHCR and others what they had undertaken but no-one was able to tell anything about the kidnapping of my brother," Ljubisa Jocic said.
Srdjan's mother Ljubica, who at the time of the kidnapping of her son was in the car, said that since Friday the entire Jocic family, which has 23 members, is refusing food in sign of protest because of the passivity of international peacekeeping forces in the area.
Since yesterday the Jocic family is also refusing to receive humanitarian aid.
