More than 100,000 Albanian nationals have illegally entered Kosovo-Metohija since international troops' deployment to that province of the Yugoslav republic of Serbia, a ranking Yugoslav official said on Wednesday.
Yugoslavia demands that the Albanian nationals be expelled from Kosovo-Metohija, according to Vladimir Krsljanin, who heads the foreign ministry's department for relations with neighbouring countries, speaking for the Agence France Presse (AFP).
They are mostly criminals, bandits and Albanian army troops, and this state of affairs has spilled into Kosovo-Metohija the chaos, anarchy and insecurity that have been plaguing north Albania for years, Krsljanin said.
Yugoslavia insists that the UN Security Council's Resolution 1244 be fully implemented in Kosovo-Metohija, that terrorism be suppressed and the ethnic Albanian so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) disarmed, he stressed.
