ZUBIN POTOK -- French KFOR peacekeepers in the north of Serbia's Kosovo-Metohija province have destroyed the TV and radio transmitter on Mt. Mokra Gora near Zubin Potok.
The 192 meter transmitter was located at an altitude of 1,700 meters. It was bombed by NATO ten times but was not hit.
KFOR did not say why it downed the transmitter, and is guarding the location.
The Serbian TV second channel and the Radio Belgrade second program cannot be seen or heard in southern Serbia or Kosovo-Metohija as a result.
