JAGODINA -- Kosovo Democratic Initiative (KDI) President Faik Jasari said it was lamentable that Kosovo and Metohija Albanians were fleeing their homes for the simple reason that they do not share the opinions of ethnic Albanian separatists and terrorists.

In a statement to Palma Plus TV of the central Serbian town of Jagodina late Tuesday, Jasari said over 30,000 Kosovo Albanians have sought refuge in Serbia proper and Montenegro from the terror of Hashim Thaci's terrorists.

"The international community has come with the task to secure peace in Kosovo and Metohija. However, it is clear as day that they favor the terrorist-separatist ethnic Albanian organization, the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), and Thaci, which is not conducive to peace," Jasari said.

"The international forces are working under dictates of the United States and England," he said, adding that they were incapale of stabilizing the situation.

"The problem in Kosovo was not that ethnic Albanians were threatened by Serbs. Kosovo was a multiethnic and multiconfessional environment and that is how it should remain. No-one has the right to expel anyone. Kosmet always was and will remain a Serbian province," Jasari said.
