At a large rally held last week-end in New York at which indictments were read against NATO and the United States for crimes against FR Yugoslavia, among some 40 speakers was also a representative of the Serbian-Jewish Friendship Society, Heather Cottin, who tried to shed light on the perplexing issue: how is it possible that most Jewish organisations in the United States, contrary to tradition and truth, have lent support to the aggressor for attacks on, for them, friendly Yugoslavia.
Why have so many Jews accepted the false analogy between holocaust and the Kosovo crisis, Cottin asked, and what was the effect of the Jewish support for NATO with respect to the aggression on Yugoslavia.
Those questions are not weighing only on members of the Jewish-Serbian Friendship Society, but they should be viewed as the result of a terrible manipulation conducted by the U.S. government, with the help of the media, to pressure the Jewish community in America into supporting NATO's intervention, Cottin said.
The Jewish support for Bosnian Muslims at the beginning of the decade, an then for Kosovo Albanians had an enormous importance for the U.S. administration in order to win public support for the aggression prepared by NATO and the United States.
That support was the result of an effective propaganda campaign conducted by the firm Ruder Fin headed by James Harif, Cottin said.
Cottin then pointed out that in spite of the success of the propaganda and the paid campaign, the truth was very well known to all. Serbs were in Yugoslavia the biggest fighters against Nazism in WW II, she said.
Most of the partisans in Yugoslavia were Serbs, while Croats, Bosnian Muslims and Kosovo Albanians supported fascism, joined SS divisions and were anti-Semites, Cottin said.
All that, the whole truth, was stifled and hushed up in the propaganda carried out by the firm Ruder Fin, while the U.S. media kept silent, she said.
Because of the traditional friendship between Serbs and Jews in WW II, because in multiethnic Yugoslavia also live Jews, because it is a known fact that Yugoslavia is being destabilised from the outside, Jews in FR Yugoslavia and Yugoslav Jews in the United States and Israel have protested against the misinformation and the shameful propaganda, Cottin said.
What connection can there be between the holocaust and the activities of terrorist groups of Kosovo Albanians with close ties to the narco-mafia aided by mujahedines, Germany and America, she asked.
Do Jews in America remember that Kosovo Albanians during WW II rushed to join the criminal SS Skenderbeg division and do they see today that their descendants are joining the terrorist KLA. Jews were reminded about those facts thanks to the letters and pleas that the Jewish-Serbian Friendship Society tried to distribute as massively as possible.
"These are immoral times where the main speakers are dangerous and immoral people," Heather Cottin, said in conclusion.
