Cozy's cat Monkey Girl has made Colin's home her new home.  Cozy loved animals!

A friend of mine had asked me if Cozy could get their Brass Band a set of drums. He of course did and they invited me and him to their concert. Well he ended up playing to a brass number that had a rock piece on the end where the drummer can do what he wants. See more photographs of concert below.

I took Cozy along with me knowing he was going to do this. The audience did not however, and what happened was that after the band had played their number the MD asked the audience if anybody would like a go on the drums as it's most peoples wish to have a bash. Cozy and me were sat in the front row, so John (my friend) said out loud to me " I hear you play the drums a bit " so of course I said not me but this chap has played a little bit before. So Cozy was asked if he would like to try in front of a BIG crowd and eventually was persuaded to get up and given a round of applause for having a go. He then went on to leave them gobsmacked as he blasted out the loudest drum solo you have ever heard and as  you will imagine there was alot of old folk in the crowd and it was a Christmas concert as well. After it the MD told the audience that it was a set up and who Cozy was, but it left some really speacheless and open mouthed. It also made him a hero to all of the Phoenix Brass Band. That just summed Cozy up. If he could he was always game for a laugh and most of the time would join in.

God I still MISS him and it brings a tear to my eye thinking about this again.
