Step 1)
Paint the bottom of the box, and the inside of the box red (it will take a few thin coats for a nice finish).
Step 2)
Now paint the top of the lid flesh colored, when this dries draw on your Santa's face with pencil.
Step 3)
Using your red, paint his hat. Now with the white paint his beard, eyebrows and fur on his hat.
Step 4)
Paint his nose and cheeks pink, dry brushing dark pink when dries. Next paint Santa's eyes, using black brown and white.
Step 5)
dry brush the outline for Santa's moustache in light grey.
Step 6)
Now cut your material so that it fits the diameter of your heart. Begin gluing the material to the box, carefully pulling for a tight fit.
Step 7)
Cut the exact size of heart you need from your white felt, and glue to the bottom of box. |
