| Taylor Walker called from outside his sons hotel room. Five minutes, Taylor called back. No, three minutes. You cannot be late for this interview, his father said. I know this! Taylor yelled. Jesus, he muttered. Taylor had been in a shitty mood all day and the idea of doing a radio interview seemed beyond meaningless. But business was business, and he had to keep up his end of the bargain. ************ The black van holding the three boys and their father pulled up to radio station three minutes before the actual interview was supposed to take place. This is so your fault, Taylor Isaac muttered as they rushed up the stairs to the main entrance. You and your fucking hair Zac said. Calm it, Walker demanded. Right now. All three boys fell silent as they were ushered directly into a studio. They put their headphones on and sat in a row with Taylor in the middle. And ladies and gentleman, I am now officially being joined by Hanson! Say hello guys, the DJ commanded. Hello! all three said in unison. Poor Zac was still trying to pull his arms out of the sleeves of his coat and Isaac still had his sunglasses on. Definitely not their finest hour. So what are you guys up to here in the big city? the DJ asked. You know, Taylor said, barely letting the man finish his sentence. A little of this, little of that. Cool. Have you done anything especially interesting? Well, Isaac began, We got to see a little of the city a few nights ago when we went out. Its amazing the different types of architecture one city can boast. Honestly, where else can you walk down a street and pass a building with Victorian features next to one thats obviously in pure gothic style? It takes my breath away. And how about you Zac? What do you like best about the city? the DJ asked. Zac nearly fell out of his chair in shock. No one ever addressed him personally. The lake, he answered simply. Ahh, the lake. Youve gotta love it, the DJ said. So how about this upcoming tour? What do the fans have to look forward to? Well, one main thing is the change in our sound Isaac began. Zac just closed his eyes and shook his head, ready to be silent through yet another interview. |
