| How I ended up on Bradys living room couch will I think remain a mystery for the rest of my life. But it was there I found myself, with the host himself, less than two hours after Id arrived. Orange is really a good color for you, Brady said, motioning toward my suit. Thanks. Are you having a good time? he asked. Oh yeaheveryone is! This house is awesome. It was made for parties. Im just hoping to God that no one pukes on the new carpet. I laughed. Jeeze, Brady, thats an image. Thanks for putting that in my head. No problem, he said. It took me a few seconds before I realized he was staring at me. What? I asked, looking around. Nothing No, tell me! I insisted. Your eyes just likelight up when you smile. It brightens up your face. I like it. Thank you, I said. The compliment really boosted me up. That was really nice to say. Well it was worth it, cause it made you smile again, he told me. It took only seconds for me to react and pounce on him like a cat. ********************** I heard Elles voice before I saw her. No, she totally like disappeared, she said. Well when did you lose her? Madison asked. I did not lose her, she just went elsewhere. And Id say about an hour ago. Maddie stepped into the living room and saw Brady lying on the couch, obviously on top of someone. Well, well, Brady. The partys only been going for what, three hours? And youre already getting lucky. Good job, Elle said. I took that as my cue to poke my head over the couch. Hey guys, I said weakly. Elle collapsed in a fit of hysterical laughter, and Madison just looked at me. |
