Zac leaned over and looked at his watch.  It was after one and he hadnt seen Isaac or Taylor anywhere.  The good and brotherly thing to do would have been to get up and look for them.  But then again, if either of the other two had been sitting right in front of Mara, they wouldnt have left to find him.  He laughed at this thought.

Whats so funny? Mara asked.

Nothing.  Just thinking about the good brotherly thing to do.

Well, I hope that makes sense to you, cause I have no idea what youre talking about, Mara told him.

I should get up and find my brothers.  I really should.  But then Id have to get up and leave you.  And Im not quite ready to do that yet, he explained.

Oh.  Okay then.  I could walk with you, if you want, she said.  We could find them together.

Really?  You wouldnt mind? he asked.

Nope.  We just have to make one tiny stop in the kitchen on the way, if thats alright, she said.

Nope, thats no problem.  Zac stood up and extended his hand to her.  Mara took it and he helped her off the couch, not letting go of her hand after she was up.  They walked into the kitchen to see a crowd of people around the island in the middle of the room.

What the hells going on? Zac asked

I have no idea, Mara said.  Zac took her hand and they pushed through the crowd.

Count it for me, guys! Isaac yelled.

One, the crowd started.  TwoTHREE!

Isaac bent forward and licked the trail of salt off Biancas neck, sucked the shot of what looked like Bacardi out of her belly button, then closed his mouth over hers grabbing the lime wedge between her teeth with his tongue.

The crowd of drunks cheered as Isaac spat the lime wedge into an empty glass and kissed Bianca again.

Isnt he supposed to be the quiet, subdued one? Mara whispered.

Thats what I thought Zac said.

Bianca sat up and the crowd cheered again.  She hopped off the counter and took a bow.  It was that very moment that Isaac noticed Zac.
Zac!  Get over here! Isaac yelled.

Zac shrugged and tugged at Maras hand.  Come on.

She giggled and followed him into the center of the craziness.

Isaac thrust a salt shaker into his brothers hand.  Your turn, man, he said, looking from Zac to Mara.

I dont know Zac started.  The crowd behind them was making all kinds of noise.

Oh, come on Zac!  This time, the voice was Maras.  It cant that bad.

You sure? he whispered.

Hell yeah Im sure! she said, jumping on the countertop and laying down.

Zac shook his head, then licked a path down her neck and followed it with salt.

He looked at Mara and she was grinning.

What the hell, right?
