Ok i'm not exactly sure of the time of this event because it didn't even seem all that important at the time until we had the pictures developed. There is a confederate Graveyand on the campus of the University of Mississippi behind the stadium and this saturday (for our own reasons) me and all my friends from school where standing in the parking lot across from this memorial when we noticed 2 guys in conferderate uniforms standing in the grass across from us watching us. Ok we all thought that was weird enough but then they turned and started walking away from us then they stopped, crossed their arms and watched us again. They did this about three more times before a few of my friends that had been drinking decided to start teasing them. After a few more minutes we all stood in a line facing them and folded our arms like they were doing and Steph took a picture of us. The guys walked a little away again then stopped and retured the pose. I told Steph to take a picture of them cause they were posing for us so she did. then we all kind of split up, half leaving to go to a party. My friends Dawn, Savery, Welborn, Shelly, Jake, and myself all stayed (against my better judgement but hey they were my ride) and the guys went out of their way to walk ojn the grass all the way to the water tower away from us. Then my friends had the big idea to go look at the memorial since we were there to kill some time before going to the graveyard to meet up with matt and steph. so we did, and as we walked towards it we noticed the two guys coming back across towards the memorial. they was some sort of reinactment thing going on apparently, as matt later told me, cause there where other guys at the enterance. none of them every said a word they just watched up quietly. Not much else really happened there so we left and went to the graveyard where later we revisted the Avent grave that was warn as usual and showed dawn around cause she'd never been there before. Dawn, Matt, and myself went on by ourselves as my and matt continued giving Dawn the grand tour then we stop cause i saw a cat go into the woods and then a fox came out right after. we sat down as the others caught up to us then as the others were talking I heard something that sounded like a little kid grunt or something. I asked Dawn and matt if they heard it and they said yeah. right after that we all left and went home.
the next day i got a call from matt saying he got the pictures steph took developed and he wanted me to see them so we went through the picture then as we got towards the end he said "i've got somethin' really freaky to show you". He showed me the pictures of us in the parking lot the he showed me the next one that looked like it was just a picture of an open space in the parking lot then it dawned on me that it was the picture i told steph to take of the guys in the uniforms. Everything was there EXCEPT the soldiers....
