Ok the most important thing to know about this event is that i have never heard any stories about a spirt of a guy running in the oxford graveyard but i do have two other witnesses to this.

On this fatefull night my usual friday plans had been derailed, so had my friends, so we were all looking for something to do. My friends Matt and Steph, as well as myself decided to go to the oxford graveyard, nothing new for us. So after making a stop and the armory we final made it to the graveyard. first off we went to a head stone that we noticed was alittle on the weird side a few nights back. The Avent Stone was made of marble and marble is always alittle cold to the touch unless its hot out but this night was alittle cold. the stone has a warm spot in the back but just so you know its not just you the vase that is built onto it is ice cold.
anyway moving on, after running into various warm spots and a wall of ice cold air that was only in ome spot we went back to the car and started talking for a while. we talked for about an hour or so then about 10:50 pm we got quiet for no reason and then we heard it. The loud thud of somebody running in work boots coming towards us. we looked up then we saw a shadow running towards us. we just sat there watching like we couldnt help but watch. the guy, from what i can tell, was dressed in black boots, jeans, and a black pullover i think. i say i think cause he didnt have a face it was like his head was a shadow. he ran down the road towards us then turn and ran towards the main road like he didnt even see us, like we werent there. we he reached the road he disapeared. not a sound, nothing. we then jumped in the car and Matt decided to see where he went but there was nobody on the road except this guy walking down from the other end and it was obvious that he hadnt seen anything. one other thing is the "running man" seemed to be running from something. hope i never find out what it was he was running from. |
