*Students, entering grades 7-11,
should read all books from the appropriate list above. 12th grade students who have not elected a history course are not required to read the history selection but must read the ELA and Science selections. AP English 12 students must read the entire AP English 12 list plus the science selection and the history text if enrolled in a history course for the coming school year.
Students will be assessed on the summer reading selections during the first week of school.
Because of the significance of this reading assignment, it is
suggested that students keep a journal as they read in order to
prepare for the first term products."The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them."-Mark Twain |
