TJ saddles up a
herd of horses this week!
Thursday 13th 2005,
This week cox fires up 24 horses including 3
Rodots. As the GR Simsters Meet starts this week we have a few racing at
Residency Tracks. Out of 21 we have 11 under 20/1 including two favourites.
We’ll mention 5 of our 7 horses under 10/1.
We start off with Their
Zoob (2370.8513) who is 10/1 in a $5,000 Claimer. He’s been racing on Turf
lately but last start he switched to Dirt again and ran a 85 Speed Figure
thought running 7th in and allowance. He’s expected to run well in
this as it is a good opportunity to win/place.
Then we come to
Purple
Desert
who isn’t no champion but runs very consistent. With a last start
high Speed Figure of 69 in a 4.5 furlong race Maiden she comes back to that
again. She is 4/1 2nd favourite in this race and she has a high
expectation in this race.
Next of All we have the non
proven Lil Rascal. He has been racing awful in his first 4 starts but the
Bookmaker has put him down a 9/1 here in a Maiden. The Point Given colt is
coming back to 6 Furlongs hoping for a Fast Track. If he gets the fast track he
is expected to run a good race.
We get to one of my favourite horses Shady Shaadi who is the most consistent horse I have. This Shaadi
3yo Filly has been running well lately after being stretched out though her Sire
Shaadi was a awesome sprinter. She debuted over 5.5 Furlongs and ran 4th
beating 10 horses home though a low Speed Figure. Next was stretched out to 8.5
Furlongs and ran a good 3rd with a 73 Speed Figure. After that cut
her down to a mile in a MSW against colts and gave them a run for their money
running 2nd with a 74 Speed Figure. 2 starts back she found something
else over a Mile again Shady Shaadi ran
in a Allowance as a Maiden with only a small field she sat 3rd. When
they got to the Second Call she shot off to the lead and left her rivals eating
dust. She blitzed them by nearly 3 lengths. Then last start she got put in a
Stakes Race and sat in a similar position to her start before and ran well with
a 84SF coming 5th. This time she is equal Second favourite a 7/2 with
a 6 horse field in a $64,000 Allowance I had to give her a shot though a small
break between Races.
Last but not least Gear
Beehives is 8/5 Favourite in a Maiden Special Weight. After 12 starts and a
massive amount of cheques for me he’s back again. Has been running fantastic
over 7Furlongs but has been leading and stopping right near the end. Last 2
starts have been 5.5 Furlong races and couldn’t jump out to lead but has stuck
on the whole way but SF’s haven’t been to flash. Cuts back to the shortest
distance possible 4.5 Furlongs and hopefully can jump to the lead and let them
swallow the dust.
24 starters this week We are
expecting a win or atleast multiple places. One horse has already ran at wide
odds and finished at the rear.
