Hi guys, here are the pix from last night's race. I did not get the race results from Jerry, as soon as he e-mails me with them, i will edit this report. We had 9 racers last night!! they were: Pete L., Billy Walker, Rob Reiu, Armand, Glenn Orban, Mike D., Dom and his son Jimmy, and Carl.
the race start:



Rob marshalling the very hectic and busy hairpin. At first, all is quiet.......then, a multi car pile up has him jumping to gather up the cars!



coming over the banked turn and then around that turn into another long straight, just before the deadly hairpin



the finishers- all remained intact, with little damage. Rob's orange Sportsman sustained some body damage, guess it will need a lot of repair or replacement, Pete's front end broke off, but he finished the race with it still flopping around in the body, and the Rat Fink got into a crash, nerfed out by (i don't want to mention any names, Billy Walker...) and was ejected from his '27 Hot Rod, but was rescued from getting run over by other cars by Armand. Rat Fink says he is ok, and will return for the next race!

here are 2 Watson-Offy racers built up from Prof Motor kits. The blue one is Billy's and was detaiked by Pete, and the gold one is mine (Glenn O.). these cars, with Falcon motors, are way fast, and handle great! Do i detect a future race class??

Everyone had a great time. So it looks like the race program is a hit, even in the slow summer season. There was some talk to race different classes in upcoming races, so not to wear out this class. We will discuss this more in depth when all are present for the July first Thursday meet.
