Ok, so we wanted to race Womps with vintage bodies......but Jerry did not have a helper, so we could not have someone to run the race.....and did a few impromtu crash n burns (i think Pete was the big winner, while i attempted to catch him on the last lap, but crashed in the dreaded hairpin.....).
So, there are only a few photos this time out. It was, however, an evening to celebrate those decades old, and fun running Womp Womps and all other vintege era 1/32 scale cars. Hopefully others will embrace the 1/32 vintage spirit and bring out more 1/32 scale cars another fun and run evening.


here are Rob's group of vintage Parma, Champion and Riggen 1/32 Womps- what, there must be a hundred of 'em here!! all right, maybe only 20...but that is some collection!! there's a few i want in there.....but dare i ask if they are for sale?? (i already know the answer to that question!! lol!!)

and last, a grouping of a wide variety of cars from Glenn's slot car boxes. Included here are: a vintage Monogram Willy's Coupe Gasser model kit with an authentic era Monogram chassis underneath, a Gilbert stock car body over a Monogram chassis chassis, a Monogram '55 Chevy over a Strombecker brass competition chassis with a Hemi 300 motor, a modified Dynamic brass pan chassis Can-Am that really flies!, a modern Ninco car, a Riggen with a 1/24 (?) early Mini Cooper body, and other hand made cars kit bashed from various model kits.

So, i hope we can squeeze in another chance to race these Womps, and try another theme night for all types of 1/32 scale cars. I know Carl also has tons of 1/32, but he thought last Thursday was this Thursday.....so he didn't show.... ....... guess he's gettin' old like the rest of us!!!
